Chocolate bread pudding
Chocolate bread pudding made with simple ingredients like milk, bread and Cocoa powder

1 muffin tin
- 2 bread rolls/ 1 mini baguette stale bread
- 250 ml milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup Cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup sugar
Sugar Syrup
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 of 1/3 cup water
Make the syrup
Add sugar to a sauce pan in medium heat and let it melt. Stir it though when it is almost done so that all the sugar granulates are melted and formed a brown syrup, being careful for it not to turn too dark.
Once sugar is completely melted add the water and close the sauce pan with a lid, until all sugar granulates are melted and the syrup is completely liquid.
Add the syrup to the muffin tin hole, Distribute even.
Make the batter
Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend for 1 min, maximum speed
Distribute evenly the batter into the muffin tin.
Cover the tin tightly with aluminium foil.
Cook in a double boiler , with pre boiled water. Cook for 1 hour in the oven 180-200 degrees Celsius.
Remove from the oven, let it cool completely, then put it in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Use a knife on the sides to help unmould the puddings and remove with a spoon.
